Off the Farm and to the Beach

Every once in awhile I try to get us off the farm. It isn't easy because we have to find someone to take care of the animals for us, but this time I found someone to come by three times a day for the goats and chickens and we took the puppies with us and headed to North Carolina to the beach.

We took our time driving down and stopped just about every 60-90 minutes to let the dogs out for breaks.

The first day they went to the beach and they weren't fans.

After the first time they got within five feet of the ocean, they refused to get anywhere near it again.  They would sit down and refuse to move forward, but would happily move away from the ocean and back to the houses.

We took them back one night to chase crabs and they had a blast and then we didn't take them back down until the end of the week.  Suddenly they weren't scared of the water and didn't run from it.

We had family pictures taken at the beach.

And then we took a picture with all of our dogs, because no one was willing to leave Faith behind for this trip.

And then we headed home.  Which looked similar to our drive down.

What we found at the front door from our pet sitter was the best, and will come in another post :)
